The Dwarves of Epithna are a slave race, they are also considered a degenerate race by many due to the circumstances of their original creation.
Dwarven Slavery
The dwarven race has been enslaved in many parts of Epithna since the beginning of the Age of Twlight very soon after the race came into being. The dwarves remain an inslaved race in much of the world, especially on the continents of Outer and Darkend. There are a few areas of Outer where things are abit more progressive and they live free. all dwarves on the Continent of the Swords and the Isle of the Swords are free people.
Dwarven Genesis
The Dwarven Race is considered a degenerate race by many because of how it came into being. Near the end of the Age of Peace and Gensis, Unpano an Old One and Minion of Devneer led a group of Humans and Elves in an attempt to subvert the Great Magic Orb. This caused an unbalancing of Majic, Power and Life the elemental forces of the multiverse. The result of this was that Unpano was himself unmade. The Humans were shrunken becoming the first Dwarves, and the Elves were converted to create the goblin races.
