Belansanc-Epithnian

Belansanc is the original language of the world of Epithna, spoken in its original and purest form by the Old Ones and picked up by the Child Races of Epithna. Over the eons the language has as expirenced some change and is no longer spoken in its purest form except in the use of Majic. When encountering the Old Ones they speak Belansanc in its original form. While is does take some effort for those that still understand Belansanc to communicate with the Old Ones it is not very difficult to get past the differences that have arisen. Users of Majic have the easist time making the ajustment from the old form to the new form, due to their use of the language in nearly its original patterns and structures.

Belansanc is typically only used in rituals, audiences and in official documents. It has been replaced with new languages mostly unique to each Child Race in day to day use.
